I buy prunes because they are tasty.

Still, the problem with the potassium claim is that prunes are dried while bananas aren't, so the water throws things off.

A better measure is potassium per kcalorie: prunes have 3mg of K / kcal; while bananas have 4mg.

9 hour bus trip through Bolivia took 36 hours instead. Stuck for hours. Multiple times. Pushed the bus. Waded through a raging stream (the 1st time I took my shoes off and waded water in Bolivia, not the last) Hablabamos mucho espanyol. Saw a beautiful thunder storm. Walked a couple of miles through quinoa fields. Ate crackers, cookies, and drank cola by candlelight as we sat in a rural tiendita awaiting the bus as the driver and his helper determinedly plodded through the flooded countryside bellowing black smoke and spinning tires in the mud. Finally arrived in Uyuni. Found a hotel and got some sleep.

Autism has become epidemic in the last 15 years. How long has mercury been in corn syrup? Really though, what a scary finding.
